(student #993 I haven't yet factored in all of last term's work).
By the way, many of you did very well on your 1984 test!
Mr. Pfeiffer's blog is intended for students and parents, and allows them to check what lessons have been learned and what assignments have been given. Parents can email Mr. Pfeiffer apfeiffer@sd19.bc.ca . And if you're out of town and you can't remember the blog address, just google Revelstoke Secondary School; from our RSS page there's a link to this blog.

English 12 -- Little Buddy Day
Yesterday our Little Buddy Day seemed to go well; unfortunately, two grade 12's were absent so that was a bit sad for their two buddies.
Grade 12's are reminded that they have to finish the novel 1984 this weekend; their final novel test will be on Monday at 10:15AM.
The provincial final exam is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

Intro German 11 -- Aufwieder-Schitzel
Last day I accidentally forgot the 'n' in Schnitzel -- as a result, we continue to get a good laugh out of the non-word "Schitzel".
Today we learned the dative case (notes and exercises). Students are to work on their German study booklets for Thursday's final test.
English 12 -- last full week of classes!
Today I sewed together most students' books. Students are reminded that the book will be due Wednesday after class (also, please bring five dollars to help cover the cost of pizza on Thursday).
Students need to continue to read their 1984 novels. Students should have at least read to p. 237 at this point (i.e. you should be starting Part III). There will be a final 1984 test on Monday June 20th at 10:15 AM.
Your English 12 final exam is scheduled for Wednesday June 22nd in the morning, for those students wishing to write it a SECOND time.

Intro German 11 - Wait for the German to make the first move
Today we began Chapter 9 "Unterhaltung" and we promptly chuckled at the German word for vacuuming (staubsaugen -- which translates into 'dirt sucking').
Students were to finish number 1-6 in chapter 9 for tomorrow.
