Intro German 11 -- Wunderbar and Apples

Today we finished up the chapter 1 questions. We listened to the hit song (not!) by Toni Kater called Wo bist du. Have a look at the video again and you'll figure out the narrative thread http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZKCb9ZVwn4

After break we wrote our chapter 1 test.

Finally I advised students that German nouns have THREE cases: masculine, feminine, and neutral. At that point three kids raised their hands and asked, "Can I see my counsellor?"

Udo and Rudolf were absent and sorrily missed. I hope you're both feeling better soond.

I provided one healthy snack for students. As well, I provided one unhealthy way to remember what the word Wunderbar means.

THERE WILL BE A CHAPTER 1 TEST DURING SECOND HALF OF TOMORROW'S CLASS!

. . . so study hard.

Oh, and we watched a funny German commercial, and we learned why some people refer to Germans as 'square-heads' and 'sauer-krauts'.

. . . and it appeared as though Melanie and Darby were fighting over a puppy (odd, I know)

Rudolf, we missed you. Else, we missed you too

We reviewed the Sag's Mal section of Kapitel 1.

No questions were done today from the textbook, but students were asked to do some review for homework.
