German 11 -- Nicht viel gelernt?

Today we completed questions 7 from Kapitel 11.
We discussed the formation of the present perfect tense.
Finally we reviewed Vekehrsmmittel and we read the Für Dich and Aktuelles section which described the DeutscherBahn mostly.

Next day more complete notes on the present perfect tense.

German 11 -- Kapitel 10 Klassenarbeit am MIttwoch

We'll do our chapter 10 test during our long block tomorrow.
Today I handed back last day's homework; I took in today's homework, marked it, and returned it. We wrote up on the board a review of chapter 10 with emphasis on what students should be studying. Students finished off by either studying for the test or completing 20-25 from chapter 10.

Today we did a spelling pre-test.
We reviewed parts of the body.
We quickly reviewed the dative.
I took in homework from last day 7-14.
I assigned 17,18,19 for homework.
I also derped a few times.
Chapter 10 Test on Thursday.

German 11 -- Ghandi ist nicht der Deutsche Kanzler!

Today the assigned work was up to and including #14 from Kapitel 10. Please complete this for homework -- due Monday.
We did a fun, Germany quiz -- the purpose was, of course, to emphasize that students should have a basic knowledge of Germany (e.g. 16 states, 82 million people, 5 car manufacturers, major rivers, etc. . . ).
Finally we reviewed die Körperteile from Kapitel 10.

Please prepare yourselves for our Kapitel 10 test late next week (either Thursday or Friday).

German 11 -- Hausaufgaben

Today we began Kapitel 10.
Questions 1-4 are due for homework tomorrow.
In the dialogue, Anke says "Farhen wir doch mit dem Fahrrad! Es dauert sonst zu lange." The last part of this sentence could be translated to (It will take too long, otherwise).

German 11 -- Willkommen!

Today was our second day of German class.

Yesterday we did an activity in which we reviewed vocabulary around the following topic areas: Greetings/Farewells; weather and seasons; numbers, telling and asking about Time; time of day, days months; school stuff; foods, eating beverages; where do you live; shopping, clothes and colours: languages and european countries; hobbies; family

Our Grammar review has included, so far personal pronouns; nominative and accusative; verb conjugation; formation of questions; gender of nouns; definite/indefinite articles; irregular verbs haben and sein; telling time.

At this point we have no done any questions: just review notes, oral activities, and group activities. The review will continue tomorrow!
