German 11 -- Kapitel 12 test on Tuesday

Today we began with a review of the chapter 12 grammar points. I handed out four pages of photocopied questions. Students worked on them. These are due for homework.

German 11 -- Kapitel 12 ist bald fertig!

Today we began with students reading their #11 paragraphs. Then we took notes and learned about possessive pronouns (the other main grammatical point from Kapitel 12).
Students worked on #12 - #15. This work is due for homework. Our chapter 12 test will be next Tuesday.

German 11 - der Hubschrauber fliegt weg

Today we went over chapter 12 #6-10.

Then students worked on #11 OR they wrote a pargraph on what they did during their Frühlingspause. This half-page of German is due for next class (tomorrow afternoon).

German 11 - So call me maybe

Today we dug into the meat of chapter 12: the irregular forms of Present Perfect Tense. The gist of today's lesson is that students must memorize verbs that have irregular past participles (since they don't follow a pattern).
We began working on #6-11 from Chapter 12. This is homework and is due tomorrow.
We also decided, as a class, that we miss both Lindsey and Ashley and hope they return soon!

German 11 - Die letzte Klasse bevor Frühlingspause

Wir haben heute viel deutsch in der Klasse gesprochen.
Wir haben heute Nummer 5 von Kapitel 12 geantwortet.
Dann hat Sophie Hoffman von Herr Rourke's Klasse besucht. Wir haben mit Sophie geredet und dann haben wir auch die Kapitel 11 video gesehen.

German 11 -- Möchtest du Akkordeon spielen?

Heute haben wir VIEL Deutsch gesprochen. Bis zum 9:40 haben wir über Universität und nächsten September gesprochen. Wir haben alle gut diskutiert und das hat mir aber ganz gut gefallen! :)

Dann haben wir Nummer 4 aus Kapitel 12 vebessert.
Dann haben wir ein Paar Videos von Daniel und Sabine gesehen.
Dann, am Ende, haben wir Nummer 5 aus Kapitel 12 gemacht.

German 11 -- Geschenk you very much!

Wir haben heute die Kapitel 11 Klassenarbeit geschrieben. Es hat die ganze Klasse gedauert.
Katja, Katharina, und Hansi -- ihr müsst die Klassenarbeit später schreiben. Könnt ihr die Klassenarbeit am Dienstag schreiben?

Hansi, hast du die Foto von Jake Teuten gestern gesehen? Meine Güte! Das ist hammer! Er ist wirklich ein guter Freeskier! Aber DU bist ein wirklich guter Skirenner!

Today we did an activity on giving directions. Absent students today should review that section in Kapitel 11. Our chapter 11 test will be Monday.

German 11 -- Axel ist ein Tutnix!

Kapitel 11 test will now be Monday.
Today students handed in #8-11.
Course selections took several students away for half a class.
We continued to do work in Chapter 11 -- 2 handouts. We also wrote down some notes which served as an outline of what to study for the test on Monday.
On Friday we'll be copying out the spelling list, completing a listening exercise, and prepping for your test on Monday!

Today students discussed what they'll be doing on their five day long weekend. We then began to work on #8-11 from Kapitel 11. That is the work that should be done when you return to class next Thursday.

German 11 -- Bist du ernst?

Today we took extensive notes on the conversational past and completed a double-sided sheet which was handed in.

In addition, we did a role-play after break and took a look at some of the Deutsch Aktuell Videos.

No homework was assigned, although students should be prepared to write a chapter very soon after the teacher's strike is over.
