Today we reviewed Haustiere and p. 95-97 in chapter 3.
Then we took notes on the irregular verbs in the simple (or Narrative) past tense.

German 11 - Kap. 3 Intro to the Narrative Past Tense

Today we took notes and I introduced the grammatical idea in German of the Narrative or Simple Past tense.

No questions were assigned.

Kapitel 3 Beginnen

Today we began with a fun worksheet where we looked at the difference between German film titles and their english counterparts.
Then we had a bit more fun with German Zugenbrecher: Der Cotbusser Postkutcher kutcht Cotbusser Post.

Finally, we began with our Kapitel 3 intro notes and #1-4 were assigned for homework.

German 11 - Kapitel 2 ist zu Ende

Last couple of classes we have finished up chapter 2. I gave you a "mock test' which was essential in studying for today's chapter 2 test.

Tomorrow we'll begin with chapter 3 intro notes -- the important grammatical point of chapter 3 is learning about the simple or narrative past.

Today we reviewed the chapter 2 pronoun concept. Then we corrected 14-18 together. Finally we read, carefully, the Lesestück -- please study this for the upcoming chapter 2 test.
