German 11's received some intro notes for chapter 10.  Homework was collected. Questions 5 and 6 from chapter 10 are due for homework.  Emily hat Kekse gebacken und sie haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Danke schoen Elfriede und Else fuer die Kekse.

Today we worked in pairs on a dialogue about visiting a relative, and then we handed in a follow-up letter in which you had to cancel the previously planned visit.

German 11's you have questions 4,5 to do from Kaptitel 10.  German 12's have no homework other than review and keep plugging away on your review booklets!

Today students handed in their corrections from the quizzes last day; as well they handed in their completed review booklet.

We reviewed splitty verbs and accusative prepositions and started on the last review booklet for the German 11's.

We also welcomed a new student to class.  Willkommen Judith!

Today was our second last class of review - for German 11's.  We completed a surprise quiz and a dialogue.

For homework, complete the second page of the last review booklet. Also, make corrections on your test that I handed back.

Today was our first 2.5 hour class and we accomplished much.  We reviewed modal auxiliary verbs -- they are kind of complex and it took quite a while.  We also began reviewing our German videos.  I gave a two page stapled review sheet for homework -- it is due tomorrow.  Viel Glueck!

Hi and welcome to class.
We will be spending the first couple of weeks reviewing our work from last year's Deutschklasse.
Homework: I've asked students to review the key points to the chapters that they have already studied -- please do this on your own for the next two weeks while we continue to review vocab, grammar, and our talking skills!
