Today, Friday, we played German language games the whole class! We worked on German tongue twisters. Each of us memorized "Brautkleid bleibt Brautkleid und Blaukraut bleibt Blaukraut."
We created an enormous Deutscheswort!
"die Grossknusprigdoppelschokoladeerdnussbutterkeksteigeiseimeretikette" (the big crispy double-chocolate peanut butter cookie-dough icecream container label).
We also played a game where we had to remember words.
As I mentioned previously in class, this helps with my desire to focus more on oral language skills.
We also learned the difference between the words Romantic and romantic and how it applies to die Romantische Strasse -- a section we read in the book pp. 41-43.
On Thursday German 12 students (only Emily PF) simply supported the learning of German 11 students.
German 11 students on Thursday completed #13-14 as well as reading the milli and willi cartoon. Also, student went over and corrected 5-11.
Mr. Pfeiffer's blog is intended for students and parents, and allows them to check what lessons have been learned and what assignments have been given. Parents can email Mr. Pfeiffer apfeiffer@sd19.bc.ca . And if you're out of town and you can't remember the blog address, just google Revelstoke Secondary School; from our RSS page there's a link to this blog.

Elke und Katja sind nicht hier!
German 12's handed in the worksheet on the genetive for marks. Then they completed 8-16 out of their workbook during class. Elke and Katja, please have that done for the next time I see you.
German 11's completed their chapter 12 test and began working on their new textbook.
During the second half, students got scripts for the Kapitel 12 video and they began acting out the video episode. We'll perform them in the drama room next Monday. Emily Unterberger, you'll have to take the role of Marco in one of the groups.

Süßigkeiten!
Today we celebrated with too much candy
German 11's prepared for their chapter 12 test which will be written on Wednesday of next week.
German 12's began taking notes on the Genetive case.
We also listened to Fanta 4's song TROY.
In addition, we began class with our first unprepared dialogue (which I thought went well!)
