Kap. 4 test, prepositions, and Kap 5 - Plural of Nouns

Last Day we completed our kapitel 4 unit test.
On Friday we spent time talking and learning about 'small' words or prepositions.  We learned that prepositions are the words that tell you where Snoopy is in relation to his doghouse.

Today we began chapter 5 by diving into the middle of it: learning about the plural of German nouns.  We took notes on this and completed #16 and 17.  Everyone handed them in except for Cody Folden-Edwards and Richard May.

Today we learned the German school subjects and wrote them down -- you'll need to know them for the chapter 4 test.

We reviewed the nominative and accusative cases and did a worksheet.  A box of girlguide cookies was won and distributed to class.

Today we grouped nouns into their three respective genders by placing them in different parts of the class.  Much time was spent reviewing classroom nouns from Kapitel 4 and their respective genders.

Homework was to work on Duolingo and ensure that #1-4 from Kapitel 4 are complete.

Today we completed and marked #7-12
We worked on Duolingo for 45 minutes.
Then questions 1-4 were assigned for homework for Friday.

Today we took extensive notes and completed exercises on the difference between the nominative and the accusative cases.
Students, then, began working on questions 7-12 from Kapitel 4.

Soccer players, you'll miss class tomorrow so please ensure that you complete questions 7-12 as well as the first set of questions, questions 1-5 -- all from Kapitel 4.

We also learned that yawning is a physiological response by your body to help you focus.  So if you need to focus, open your mouth and 'pretend' to yawn.  Seriously.  It works.  Try it.
