By now you may have heard there will be no classes on Tuesday June 17th. There is still a chance the strike could end in a day or two but I'm not as optimistic as I was a few days ago.
Keep your German book handy and do some review. There is still a small chance that we'll have our German final exam on Thursday morning.

Last day - Kapitel 6 test - Today Kap. 7 intro
Today we began with a listening activity and then moved on to the opening notes of Kapitel 7. Menu planners were handed in. In the last few classes maps of Germany were turned in along with all the work from kapitel 6.
Students were advised we will not be having a full chapter 7 test, but we might have a quiz on chapter 7.
We listened to Gabi and Klaus, the great song by die Prinzen. Students were asked to go on the internet to figure out what the song was about.
We also learned that some german verbs work backwards, like gefallen. Das Hemd gefaellt mir means I like the shirt. Whoa! Backwards verbs! Yeah! Put that in your brain and smoke it! #PTIYBASI
