We started with another small activity on Shakespeare's language.
In the main part of the lesson we finished reading Act IV and we completed all the Act IV questions on the worksheets (the ones that were posted last day).
Mr. Pfeiffer's blog is intended for students and parents, and allows them to check what lessons have been learned and what assignments have been given. Parents can email Mr. Pfeiffer apfeiffer@sd19.bc.ca . And if you're out of town and you can't remember the blog address, just google Revelstoke Secondary School; from our RSS page there's a link to this blog.

Act 4 Romeo and Juliet
We wrote an Act 3 quiz online by going here (you only have 10 minutes to complete it!) http://lms.sd19.bc.ca There are a couple problems with the quiz, but please write it anyway.
Here are the remaining questions for the play. It's about 6 pages long but contains lots of fill in the blank questions. I hope you're not insulted as it's quite simple to complete. Click on the link below to see

We also spent time today doing activities to enhance our understanding of Elizabethan language.
Projects were also due today

Romeo - finish Act 3
Today we discussed our quotation study sheet and worked on identifying those quotations. We mentioned how there are three ways to discuss the significance of the quotations: in terms of plot, in terms of character, and in terms of theme.
We finished reading Act III and discussed the elements of plot that occurred. There will be an Act III quiz on Friday -- bring your Smart-phones!
There was time to work on our RandJ project: this project is due on Friday.

Term 1 grade
Have a look below at your Term1 grade. This is the grade that will appear on your report card.
As I mentioned in class, I have changed the way I'll calculate your final grade in this course. This is an "interim grade." I will continue to add all of the term 2 work to this grade. I will also go back and change the grade of your compositions, if you get a higher grade on a composition in the future.
