Today we learned how to form questions in German and how to tell time.
We continued to work on chapter 2 and were to do up to question number 16.
In addition, students began working on a map of Germany.
All of this work is due for homework for next class.
Mr. Pfeiffer's blog is intended for students and parents, and allows them to check what lessons have been learned and what assignments have been given. Parents can email Mr. Pfeiffer apfeiffer@sd19.bc.ca . And if you're out of town and you can't remember the blog address, just google Revelstoke Secondary School; from our RSS page there's a link to this blog.

Today we took intro notes for chapter 2. Click here to get the notes.
Students were assigned the first four questions from chapter 2.
We also learned how to say Kommst du rüber.
In addition, I promised a knock, knock joke and a link to AGK.
Here the knock knock joke: Knock knock? Who's there? Pile-up. Pile-up who?
Here's the link to AGK. Enjoy
Tschüs!

Intro German 11 -- Wunderbar and Apples
Today we finished up the chapter 1 questions. We listened to the hit song (not!) by Toni Kater called Wo bist du. Have a look at the video again and you'll figure out the narrative thread http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZKCb9ZVwn4
After break we wrote our chapter 1 test.
Finally I advised students that German nouns have THREE cases: masculine, feminine, and neutral. At that point three kids raised their hands and asked, "Can I see my counsellor?"
Udo and Rudolf were absent and sorrily missed. I hope you're both feeling better soond.
I provided one healthy snack for students. As well, I provided one unhealthy way to remember what the word Wunderbar means.
