Students read through a series of canceled cheques. These cheques actually make up a narrative or story.

Pay close attention to whom the cheques are written, the amounts, when they were written, and how much is paid. Also pay attention to patterns: for example how many cheques were written within a one month period?
Summarize the story in a paragraph and be prepared to hand it in next class.
