We read Rhea Tregov poems "Sidewalk Elegy" and "Elegy for the Afternoon."
For the poem "Elegy for the Afternoon" students completed the following: identify at least five characters. For each one describe their attitude. Finally, use a quotation to support each of your statements. This was done on a lined piece of paper by each student and then submitted at the end of class.
